Humbly accepting God’s sovereign will, we announce the passing on of Dada Silibia Abunje Atinda.

Mother to Consolata Onduru, Peter Okinda,Teresa Ogenda, and Elizabeth Akomo.

Co-wife to Jennifer Atinda.

Mother-in-law to the late Martha Okinda, the late Beatrice Okinda and Evelyn Okinda.

Step-mother of Consolata Atinda, Serphin Atinda and Gradus Ngutu.

Grandmother to the late Everline, Philip, Margaret, Beatrice, Julian, Phoebe, Symphrose, Sylvia, Felix, Vall, James, Leonard, Juma, Tom, Walter, Ishmile, Daniel, Akinyi, Outa, Lusi, Mary, the late Achieng, Anjeline, Pamela, Regina, Rose, Flora and Benter. She’s left behind 39 grandchildren,80 great grand children and 12 great great grandchildren.

Friends and family are meeting daily at their ancestral home in Kanyakwar Village in Kisumu Central Sub-county, Kisumu County.

The cortege leaves St. Monica Ukweli Mortuary on Friday 22nd September 2023 at 12 noon, for a church service that will be held opposite their home, along Kisumu – Kakamega Road presided over by Power of Jesus Church.

The burial will take place at their ancestral home in Kanyakwar Village on 23rd September 2023
