Death has occurred of Mrs. Damaris Njeri Kienje. Wife to Stephen Kienje Njuguna of Kamulu, Ruai after a long illness bravely borne.

She was daughter to the late George Njoroge Mwenje and Martha Wanjiku. Daughter in law to the late Joram Njuguna Githinji. Husband to Eunice Mugure and Monica Njeri. She is the beloved mother of Eunice Mugure (USA), Elizabeth Wanjiku, Betty Nyambura (UK) and Thomas Njuguna of (USA). Mother-in-law to Eric Nyandat and John Keru.

She was sister to the late Samson Mwenje, Peris Watiri, Josephine Wangui, the late Geoffrey Gichiri, Samuel Chege, David Karanja, Esther Njoki, Loise Wanjiru and Paul Waweru. She was sister in law to Garishon Ngugi, Daniel Njenga, Jane Wairimu, Francis Kihumba, Charles Ngugi, Michael Ndiranrgru, George Kienje, Susan Wanjiku, Grace Wambui and Simon Njoroge. Grandmother to Erica, Elaina, Sharon, Samantha, Silas, Lauren and Heather.

Friends and relatives are meeting at her home in Kamulu at 2.00 pm daily for burial preparations.

The Cortege will leave Kenyatta University Mortuary on Friday 18th June 2021 at 8,30a.m for a church service at Kamulu PCEA Church starting 10.00a.m and burial at her home next to Ngundu Primary School, Kamulu. All Government Covid 19 protocols will be followed.
