It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Damaris Wangari Keru (Wakihia) on 13/3/2020 after a short illness.

Wife of the late John Keru Marigu. Sister of the late Wachira Ng’auru, the late Muguro Ng’auru, the late Mary Wanjiku and Joseph Macharia (Nairobi). Mother of Jane Wambui Mwangi (Thika), Elvis Mwangi (Kianjogu), Charles Kihia (Ng’arua), Solomon Maina (Karatina), Dr Eustace Gatembura (Nairobi), Francis Kariuki, Judy Wanjiku Karuri (Nyeri PGH), Elizabeth Njoki Njeru (Delmonte) and Erastus Murage (Othaya Hospital). Grandmother and Great grandmother of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home Kianjogu village, Kirimukuyu, Mathira West Sub County.

The cortege leaves Jamii Hospital Mortuary, Karatina on Friday 20th March 2020at 8.00am. Funeral service will be held at PCEA Kianjogu Church, from 10.00am. Burial will follow thereafter at her home at Kianjogu Village.
