DAMARIS WANJIRU KAMAU

It is with a heavy heart and humble acceptance of God’s divine will that we announce the promotion to glory of Damaris Wanjiru Kamau.

She was the wife of the late Landon Kamau. Mother to the late Carol Wangui, the late Nicholas Kabiaru, Justin Frank Riunge (Ireland) and Faith Muthoni Kibe (UK). She was the mother-in-law to Susan Kamau, Francis Kibe and Diana Wanjuhi.

Daughter to the late Francis Riunge Kinuthia and Eunice Muthoni, and Virginia Wambui. Sister to the late Mary Nguhi Wangewa, Alice Nyamwitha, the late Peter Ngundi Riunge, Lydiah Wambui Riunge, Nancy Njuhi Tomanka, Mercy Wangari Riunge, Salome Nyaguthie Muchemi and David Richo Riunge. Step-sister to Mary Nguhi, Damaris Kingatwa, Peter Ngundi amongst others.

Grandmother to Anne & Jonathan, Chloe, Daphne, Keshi, Shiro Kibe, Shiro Kabiaru and Kamau. Great grandmother to Tia. Beloved Aunty to many.

Friends and family are meeting for daily prayers at her residence in Njiru.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home on Friday 21st April 2023 for a final farewell service at the family home in Rimpa, Kiserian.
