DAN NICHOLAS OMONDI

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved Dan Nicholas Omondi of Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), which occurred suddenly on the 15th of May 2023 at his home in Ongata Rongai, Kajiado County.
Dan is survived by his loving wife Imelda Faith Akinyi and his angelic daughters Armah and Alyssa.
He was the son of the Late Mama Alice Atieno Ragen of Kadero sub-location, Kisumu East. He was the brother of David Ochieng. Philip Odhiambo, and Alfred Ragen.
He was the son-in-law to Jared and Jemma Owiti of Asembo Kanyigoro, Siaya County. Brother-in-law to Kevin Otieno, Eugine Erick , Edna Matilda, Serfine Stacy, Joyce Achieng, Caroline Odhiambo, and Nyariri Ragen.
Uncle to Wayne, Shanice, Nigel, Nadia, Nathan, Kenzo, and Alicia.
Nephew to the late Odinga Ragen, Helida Omollo, the late Jenifer Magaga, the late Benta Oywer, Richard Ragen, Margaret Odongi, the late Oscar Ragen, the late Prisca Ofula, and the late James Ragen.
He was cousin to Otieno Odinga and siblings, Joshua Ogutu and siblings, David Magaga and siblings, Salome Oywer and siblings, Patrick Odago and siblings, Dennis Odongi and siblings, Geoffrey Ochieng and siblings, Nelda Ofula and siblings and Lilly Olwande among others.
Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Ongata Rongai, near Quick Mart, Maasai Mall, Kajiado County for prayers and funeral arrangements.
A funeral service will be held at the ACK St. Barnabas Church, Otiende, Langata, Nairobi County on 1st June 2023 at 1400hrs.
The cortege will leave Chiromo Funeral Parlour on Friday, 2nd June 2023 at 0500hrs for the final journey to his family home in Kadero sub-location, Kisumu East, Kisumu County for an overnight vigil of tributes, praise, and worship. The burial service will be held at the family home on 3rd June 2023 starting at 1000hrs where Dan will later be laid to rest.
