It is with the humble acceptance of God’s will, that we announce the sudden death of Mr. Dancan Ndwiga Kanambiu. Retired officer from the Meteorological Department.

Son of the late Mr Robert Kanambiu Kanake and Mrs Mirriam Karimi Kanake. Husband of Irene Muthoni Ndwiga. Brother of the late Cicilia Marigu, Peter Njeru, the late Fredrick Nyaga, the late Karen Gitiri , Janerose Mburia (Rtd KU Librarian), Winfred Njoki, Walter Kanambiu (USA), Rev. Luke Kanambiu (PEFA, Naivasha). Father of Denis Muriithi, Purity Mukami, Esther Wandiri and Maureen Wawira. Father-in-law of Roseline Maitha Muriithi. Grandfather Robin, Annette, Micheal, Kerian, Susan, Yvonne and Immaculate.

Friends and relatives are meeting at his home in Chokaa – Shelisheli and Rutune – Embu, everyday from 5.00pm to 6.00pm and prayers thereafter.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Funeral Home, at 7.00am, on Thursday 10th December, 2020 to ACK St. Mark Rutune – Embu, for funeral service and burial.
