DANIEL KITHUNKA RUKUNGA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Daniel Kithunka Rukunga of National Land Commission (Nairobi) which occurred on the 25th of August 2021 at Kenyatta National Hospital.

Son of Samuel M’Rukunga and Katerina Mukii and stepmother Monica Mwomaitha, son in law to the late Jacob Mutea and the late Catherine Muthoni and stepmother Collets Mukima, husband to Joanina Karuru, father to Adv I. Kambura, Adv S. Karambu, M. Kawira and P. Kageni and father-in-law to Adv. Daniel Kang’ethe Kuria.

A brother to Kaimenti, Mwathathi, Muthoni and Kinya. A stepbrother to Kanini, the late Nyoroka,Gatumwa Nkatha and Mukiri. Brother-in-law to Mukiri, Kaimuri, Kagendo and Beatrice as well as Monica, Selina, Teresia, Karea, Joseph, Mary, Julius. Mung’athia and Kauna. Grandfather to Wanjiku, Kigunye and Kendi, Muthoni and Kinoti.

Family and Friends are meeting at his home Sunton, Kasarani in Nairobi from 5pm through 7pm and at his rural home Kithiiri village – Ntornbo Sub location Mkomo ward, Tigania West sub county Meru County.

The cortege leaves Meru Funeral Home on Friday 3rd September 2021 at 10 am for prayers and funeral service at Kithiiri Primary School and burial at his rural home at I pm. Burial Service shall be conducted in strict adherence with MoH Covid- 19 Protocols.
