DAVID KERETO

The Kereto Family and the Covenant Church International (CCI) – Kenya regret to announce the passing on of Rev. David Kereto, the Executive Director of the Maasai Evangelistic Association (MEA) UK and Kenya and Founding General Secretary of CCI, that occurred on January 15, 2024, following a road traffic accident.

He was the eldest son of the late Tobiko Mesopiro Ole Kereto, Kiteleiki Kereto, and Naibartuni Kereto, and the grandson of the late Mesopiro Ole Kereto, the late Mama Titiyiai and the late Mama Pialo Kereto.

He was the loving husband of Jane Naeku Kereto and father of Moses Lemayian Kereto, Grace Resiato Kereto, Joshua Leshan Kereto, Faith Mantaine Kereto-Macharia, and Michael Lemeria Kereto.

Rev. Kereto was the father-in-law of Susan Nashipae Letoluo-Kereto and Kennedy Macharia Mburu and the grandfather of Saiguran, Lentoyian, and Kisianan.

The funeral will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025, at his home in Naisoya, Narok North.
