DAVID RAKAMA

25th February, 1969 – 27 January, 2024

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely demise of David Rakama which occurred on 27th January 2024.

Beloved son to Johnson Mutembete Abachi Rakama and Sallie ljatsa Rakama.

Husband to Agnes Otiwi. Loving Father to Chloe ljatsa and Clara Neema.

Grandson to the late Jeremiah Walusala, the late Rebecca Nekunda,the late Jotham Misoga and the late Dinah Esendi.

Brother to Caroline Rakama-Odera, Brian Luseno and Alan Misoga.

Son-in-law to Nathaniel Asiko Otiwi and Salome Ongoche Otiwi. Brother-in-law to Rose Makutsa, Irene Otiwi, Doreen Wendy and Robert Asiko

Nephew to the late Mark and the late Susanna Udoto, the late Wasike Ndombi and Berty Wasike, the late Washington Rakama and the late Robai Andeka, Michael Washika (HSC) and the late Enid Washika, the late Paul and Neddy Imende, the late Bande and Susan Rakama, Hannington and Lydiah Rakama, Stanley and Merceline Rakama, Mark Rakama, Florence Naswa, Dismus Wafula, Steve Rakama and Beatrice Kwachi.

Cousin to Gibert Urandu, Jonce Nandikove, Dr Lawrence Simbauni Ndombi, Janet Namusia, Anderson Rakama, Tony Washika, Billy Washika, Oliver Washika Charles Washika, the late Martin Imende, Vera Obonyo, Judith. Brenda, Franklin, Jeremiah Ndomb, . Bes Tarusi, Gladys Situma, Eric, Christine, joy, Ruth, Edward, Dr Stella Rakama, Angela Okech,  Matthew Lomosi, Eric Makambi, Dinah Makambi, Joan Oyugi and Dan Lugata.

Family and Friends will meet today Wednesday 7th February 2024 a Meladen Restaurant, Upper Hill from 5.30pm for prayers and financial support.

A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, 8th Februar 2024 at the Chapel, Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home from 9 0am. Thereafter, the cortege will leave for burial at his rural home on Saturday 10th February 2024 in Emwakupa, Navakholo, Kakamega County.
