The late was the son of the late Andrew Simiyu Wanami and Lena Khafweli Namarome.

Husband of Antoninah Wafula and father of Leonard Wanami, Eric Nyongesa (Chairman Tax Appeal Tribunal), Beatrice Lusike, Humphrey Namai, Catherine Wanami, Leanah Namarome, Elizabeth Wafula Stephen Wanami and Lenna Namarome.

Brother of the late Stephen Wekesa, the late Elizabeth Nabaloyo, the late Pricillah Nanjala, the late Samuel Wanjala, the late Barasa Wanami, the late Mukhwana Wanami, Japheter Mulongo and the late Christoper Khisa.

Grandfather of Ken Chalton, Chantelle, Mitchell, Erskine, Erston, Stacy, Sheila, Monica, Sharon, Ruben, Eddah, Peter, Abigail, David, Doreen, Veronica, Job, Meshack, Elizabeth, Ann, Shadrach, Ervin, John, Ceciliah, Chantelle, Sharbel, Charity, Glandel, Keith, Fidel and Blessing.

The body is lying at Cherengani Funeral Home and will be removed on Friday 1st. November 2024.

His remains will be laid to rest on Saturday 2nd November 2024 at Nyasi Farm
