It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of David Wahome Gakuru.

Son of the late Gakuru and late Lucy Wanjiku Nyawira. Husband of Terry Magdaline Wambui. Father of Lucy Karori, Esther Njoki, Bernard Gakuru. Guardian parent of Nancy Ndegwa and Njogu Ndegwa. Brother to Late Wangui, Wanyiri, Nyambura and Waithiegeni of USA and the late James Gichuru. Brother-in-law of the late Wairimu Ndegwa, Betty Kamau, Lucy Cameron, Teresia, Peter, Late David, Lydia Waithera and Hellen Wangeci. Father-in-law of Karori Kahuthu and Joyce Wambugu. Grandfather of Melisa, Tamara, Tamika, Tanisha, Tiana and Dylan Wahome.

Friends and Family are meeting daily starting a 5pm at Mukurweini Nyeri, Naka (Karori’s) and Eserian Hotel Nakuru.

The cortege leaves Mukurweini level Four Hospital mortuary on Friday 9th Oct at 10am for prayers at Kagarie Primary School and burial at his farm in Migiti Village, Mukurweini Nyeri County.
