DAVIS KAMUTI MWANGANGI

19th January 1944 ~ 07th August 2024

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our dear father and patriarch of the Mwangangi family, Davis Kamuti Mwangangi, which occurred on 7th August 2024.

Davis was the son of the late Joseph Mwangangi Mutiso, the late Ruth Nduli Mwangangi and stepson of the late Lena Koki. He was the son-in-law of the late Esther Tavea and the late Daniel Kitonyo of Kisasi Village.

Loving husband of Lenah Munanie Mwangangi and devoted father of Ruth Mwangangi, Alex Mutavi, Boniface Kitonyo, Charles Mwangangi and Esther Kamuti.

Father-in law of James Thiga, Terry Muchoki, Catherine Illovi and Sarah Njoroge.

Doting grandfather of Ariel, Zuri, Liam, Jianna,Ahidi,Ariela, Eliana and Nathaniel.

Dear brother of Danson Masua, the late Benjamin Willi and the late Benson Ndoni. Step-brother of Jedidah Kathei, Samson Kimanzi, Elizabeth Katee, Charles Mutua and Agnes Mwende.

Brother-in-law of Teresia Masua, Martha Wlli, Kavutha Ndoni, Beatrice Kakunzu, Maryanne Makaa, Festus Mwangangi, Philomena Katunge, & David Muli.

He was a cherished uncle of Oliver Mutiso, Jacob Mwangangi, Ruth Mwikali, Yvonne Nzembi, Mercy Koki, Ruth Mumbua, Terry Kathini, Mark Mwangangi, Faith Mutanu, Stella Mumbe, Dennis Maithya, Joseph Mutia, Musyimi, Agnetta, Shadrack amongst many others.

Treasured relation to the Thiga’s, Illovi’s, Muchoki’s, Njoroge’s and many others.

He was a proud son of Mbitini Location, Kitui and had a heart for community development, giving generously of his time, wisdom and resources.

He will be missed by many, far and wide whose lives he has impacted over the years. Davis was a man of great valor, whose strength and faith was on the Lord Jesus.

Davis will be laid to rest at his family home in Muluti Village, Mbitini Location, Kitui County on Friday, 16th August 2024.

Funeral arrangement to be shared later. The family kindly requests no flowers.
