We, the family of the late Deacon James Kanyaa Katundu, give thanks to the Almighty God for the years He gave us with him until his transition on 2nd December, 2020 at Nairobi Hospital.

Son to the late Johnston Katundu Misiki and Kaswii Katundu. He was brother to the late Ngunza, Makovo Katundu, Wilson Wambua Katundu, Ruth Kiutha Musyimi and Ruth Mumbua Katiku, Rose Mbithe Matheka and Veronicah Ngali Isika. Father to Harrison Kaloki Kanyaa, Robert Munyao Kanyaa, Charles Nzioki Kanyaa, Raphael Misiki Kanyaa, Jones Musembi Kanyaa, Joyce Nthenya Maina, the late Judith Kiloko Kanyaa and Christine Mwongeli Birundu.

Father in law to Beatrice Syombua Kaloki, Stellar Wayua Munyao, Lilian Wavinya Nzioki, MaryGorreti Mwikali Misiki and Carol Kavinya Musembi, John Maina Kimiti, Timothy Kyalo Nzuki and Steve Birundu. Grandfather to Brigid Ngonyo Kimotho, Irene Ndinda Muhindi, Stanley Kanyaa Kaloki, Catherine Mutheu Mutua, Samson Mua Kaloki, Faith Mwelu Kaloki, Purity Ndinda Munyao, Newton Kanyaa Munyao, Virginia Mukonyo Munyao, Frida Mbithe Munyao, Tiffany Ndinda Nzioki, Karen Kanini Nzioki, Nehema Nzioki, Cynthia Misiki, Ian Makovo Misiki, Sunnyday Misiki, Tracy Ndinda Musembi, Pendo Karimi Musembi, Roy Maina, Victor Kanyaa Maina, Wendy Maina, Davis Muli Kyalo, Stacy Mbithe Kyalo, Marion Steve Birundu, Mark Birundu, Steve Kimotho, Muhindi, Mutua, Muteti, Lynett.

Great grandfather to Carol Beusi, Pravin, Dylan, Daliana, Sylvester, Rilan, Ramori Raphael and Amari Mwavu. Brother in law to the late Peter Mua and Annah Ngonyo Mua, Mutiso, the late Mr & Mrs. Paul Mutua, Mr. Musyoka and late Rose Musyoka, late Mr. & Mrs. Tula, late Mr. & Mrs. Justus Soi, late Mr. and Mrs. Kimiti, Mr. and Mrs. Nzuki and the late Mr. and Mrs Birundu.

The funeral service to celebrate his life will be held on 16th December, 2020 from 10:30am at his home in Imale Village, Mitaboni Sub-County, Machakos County. Ministry of Health COVID-19 protocols will be observed.
