DEBORAH WANJIKU NDARUGA

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of our beloved mother, Mrs Deborah Wanjiku Ndaruga on Wednesday 9th June, 2021.

Daughter of the late Macharia Gachugu Kamoo and late Wanjiru Gachugu. Loving wife of the late Zakariah Ndaruga Buta. Mother of Dr. Ayub Macharia (Director; EEA Ministry of Environment & Forestry), Samuel Maru (BATS Limited), Timothy Gachanga (Tangaza University College), Leah Wanjeri (Kuraiha Primary School), Hannah Wanjiru (Goshen Academy), Benjamin Mwangi (UNA1TAS), Beth Wambui, Keziah Wangari (Manguo Sec. School, Limuru) and Tabitha Wairimu (Kariguini Secondary School).

Mother-in-law of Deborah Wanjiru (Hospital Hill Primary School) ,Yusuf Karanja (Gakoe Girls High School), Milkah Wanjeri (Kihara Primary School), Rachel Nyambura (Gatitu High School), Isaiah Macharia, Tabitha Wanjiku (Mt. Sinai Hospital), Hosea Giita, Paul Waigwa (Waedy Tours), Gideon Chege (Diamond Trust Bank). Sister of Zakaria Mwangi Gachugu, Daniel Rugano, the late Miriam Wangari, Peninah Nyambura, Njeri Kimani, Rachel Wairimu Kibe.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Dr Ayub Macharia’s home at Kenyatta Road Estate Juja and at her rural home Kiawambogo, Karima village.

The burial will take place on Wednesday 16th June, 2021, at her home at Karima Village, Kiawambogo, Kangema Sub-County, Murang’a County.
