Diana Emily Mumelo Masafu

We announce the passing to, Glory of our beloved Diana Emily Mumelo Masafu at the Kenyatta National Hospital after a short illness.

Wife of the Late Peter Rodgers Mumelo Masafu, a mother of Morgan, Brenda, Belinda and Angela Masafu. Daughter of Mr and Mrs Fredrick Akali Mucheni of Ebuchero Ebulali, Khwisero sub-county, Kakamega County. Sister of Mariah, Judith, Jael, Rachael, Ruth, Dan, Grace, Alice, Ann, Marleen, George, Sammy, Julia and Chichi. Daughter-in-law of the late mzee Apili Masafu Wambulwa and the late Mama Tebula Nekoye. Sister in-law of Mzee William Wanyonyi, Deina Nambafu, the late Sarah Kuloba, the late Aineah Wafula, Rebeccah Karani, Jamin Toywa, Jimmy Masafu, Joseph Kusimba, Erastus Simwelo Masafu, Mary Wamwayi, David Mabonga, among others.

Beloved auntie of Rtd Head teacher Fred Masafu, Mumelo Masafu HE. Amb. George Masafu (DRC), Eng Henry Mwasame, Barrister Cyprian Wekesa, Jane Okutoyi, Fridah Wamanga, Juliana, Eng Sarah Wepukhulu, Kennedy Wakoli, Edward, Barnaba, Leonard Masafu Bramwel, Michael, David, Carol, Alice, Solomon among many others. Doting grandmother of Jadyn, Jeff, Becky, Jeremy, Blaise, Josue and Espoer.

The cortege leaves KNH on Thursday 27th February, 2020 at 8:am for a requiem mass to be held at Winnners Chapel, Adams.

Burial will be held on Saturday 29th February at her Lutonyi home, Kibingei, Kimilili Bungoma county.
