DIANA WANJIKU NJAMBI MBAU

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the passing of Diana W. Njambi Mbau (NCBA Bank, Embakasi Branch) after a long illness.

She was the beloved wife of Pastor Samuel Mbau Mungai of Redeemed Gospel Church – Kayole and mother of Susan Wanjiku Mbau and Neema Njambi Mbau.

Diana was the daughter of Alice Njambi Mwaura and daughter-in-law of Rev. Samson Mungai and Pastor Susan Mungai of Redeemed Gospel Church – Kayole.

Diana was the granddaughter of Rahab Wanjiku and the late Evans Njoroge, as well as Florence Wanjiru Mbau and the late Jonathan Mbau Karangu.

She was a cherished cousin, niece, aunt, and friend to many.

Prayers and funeral arrangements are being held daily from 6pm to 8pm at Redeemed Gospel Church, Kayole. A memorial service will take place on Sunday, 14th July 2024, at 3 pm at the same church, with a dress code of all white.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Mortuary on Tuesday, 16th July 2024, at 8am, proceeding to Redeemed Gospel Church, Graceland in Yatta for the funeral service, followed by the burial at her home in Gatang’a, Rubiru farm along Garrisa Matuu road.

‘I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. For to me, to live is christ and to die is gain.
