DILSHAD SADRUDIN HASHAM MOHAMED

With humble acceptance of Allah’s wish, we announce the passing away of Dilshad Sadrudin Hasham Mohamed on Saturday 28 March 2020.

Beloved wife to late Sadrudin Hasham Mohamed. Mother to Mohamed, Farouk, Zainul and Zeenat. Mother-in-law to Wendy and Yasmin. Grandmother to Sophie, Adam, Alysha, man Amal, Imran and Aryan. Sister to lqbal, Kabir, Salim, Karim and Zain (Shanu). Sister-in-law to Ken, Carol, Shemin, late Nasra Lalani, late Khatibai Virani, late Ahmedali Mohamed, late Dolubai Kurji and late Shiribai Karachiwalla. Aunt to Khalil, Deen, Yusuf, Jamil, Adil, Salim, Alykhan, Shireen-Nicole, Nick and late Shane Lalani.

The funeral service took place on Sunday 29 March 2020 at 8:00am, at the Aga Khan Cultural Centre, Nairobi.

The bereaved family wishes to thank all family and friends for their prayers and support during this difficult time with special gratitude to Dr Saha, the medical team and all staff of the Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi.

Her Legacy …

When I die, give away what is left of me to others.

When you need me, put your arms around everyone and give to them what you need to give to me.

I want to leave you with something, something better than words or sounds.

Look for me in the people 1 have known and loved.

And if you cannot live without me, then let me live on in your eyes, your mind and acts of kindness.

You can love me most by letting hands touch hands.

Love doesn’t die, people do.

So when all that is left of me is love… Give me away.
