It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Dinah Grace Anyango Opiyo (Japuonj) of Kodera North Location, who rested on 11/6/2020.

Loving wife to James Jeremiah Opiyo Jonyo. Daughter of the late Elly Odhiambo and the late Dorcas Okumu of Kaswanga. Mother of the late Kennedy, Emma of AA Kenya, the late Tom, Lilian of KEMRI- CDC Nairobi, Dancun of Orbit Chemicals, Christine of Ongalo & Co Advocates, Victoria of CFK, Samson of Sajop consultants and Harmon of Uganda. Sister of Jim Ochieng, the late Paul Obara, the late Margaret Tindi and Tom Ogweno. She was sister-in-law of Loise Jonyo, the late Michael Owino Jonyo, Cecilia Owino, the late Beldine Ogola, the late Dorcas Oketch, Zilpa Muga, the late John Aguk Jonyo, Adeny Jonyo, Peres, Deborah Okeyo, Josephine and Margaret Obara, Tabitha Ogweno among others.

Aunt to Fredrick Owino, Dorothy, Judith, June, Oliver, Tom, Edla, Zephania, Turphena, Esther, Winnei, among others. Mother-in-law of John Ochieng’, Dr Ambrose Nyangao, Dennis Onyango, Edwin Kepha, the late Wilfrida, the late Gloria, Joyce, Elizabeth, and Sheila. Grandmother of Myra, Victor, the late Ronald, Juliet, Clinton, Vivian, Addah, Cynthia, the late Tony, Jeff, Austin, Adam, Rinah, Lalletti, Tonia, Zell, Keynan, Adrian, Shyne, Jerry, Finex And Kai.

The cortege leaves Matata Nursing Home mortuary on 19th June 2020 for her home in Mumbo in Kodera North Location, Homa Bay County.

We will miss Mama dearly.
