Dinah Shumila Musonye

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Mama Dinah Shumila Musonye of Matende Village, Amalemba Estate, Bukhungu Location, Kakamega County. Which occurred on Friday 21st February 2020.

Daughter of the late Paul Shava and Susan Shava. Wife of the late Laban Musonye. Mother of Jayne Sheila (USA), Eva Amudavi, the late Nickson Musonye, the late Ronnie Musonye, Eric Shava, Carol Khayanje and the late Ben Musonye. Grand Mother of Sharon and Ivy Ngaira, Kimberly and Nimrod Luseno, Natasha Fedha, Teddy, Duke and Ophelia Shava, Shirleen Ikunza, Chantal Mwisheni and Nadine Shumila. Mother-in-law of Enock Luseno Amudavi (NYS), Ken Tuiu (USA), Christine Machika and Faith Shava. Sister of the late John Shava, Shem Shava, the late Rasoa Aswani, Joan Silabeya and Elinah Nakaya. Aunty of the Shava’s, Aswani’s, Silabeya’s and Nakaya’s. Daughter-in-law of the late Benjamin Musonye and Selina Musonye. Sister-in-law of the late Eunice Onyango, the late Nathan Musonye, Dorah Atiti, Nashon Musonye, Mary Otakwa, Rosebella Ondere, the late Lorna Musonye and the late Joyce Ashihundu.

Family and friends are meeting daily at NYS HQ Thika Road for prayers and funeral arrangements to meet medical and burial costs.

A fund drive will be held on Tuesday 3rd March 2020 at Enock and Eva’s house – NYS HQ Thika Road from 5.30pm. For any contributions, kindly send to 0722-774883 (Mary Abbitu).

The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary on Thursday 5th March 2020 for burial at her home An Amalemba Village, Bukhungu Location Kakamega County on Saturday 7th March 2020.
