DORCAS ANYANGO OLALI

It is with acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mama Dorcas Anyango Olali (Min Dani) which occurred on the 3rd day of August 2021 after a short illness.

Loving wife of Advocate George Shane Okoth of G.S. Okoth & Company Advocates – Homa Bay. Daughter of the late William Obinda Olali and the late Mama Turphosa Achola Olali of Seme Reru. Mother of the late Susan Atinda, Dr. Zippy Okoth (Kenyatta University), George Kabaka (ICPAC), Salome Awuor (Action Aid), Emmanuel Shikuku (Adokuku Fashion House), Sheila Okoth (Business), Augustine Achola (Girly Kitenge Styles), and Winny Okoth (JKUAT University).

Sister of Mrs Rhoda Akoko, Mrs Joan Ogallo (Nairobi), Sammy Owino (USA), Mary Adhiambo, the late Moses Amoke, Sarah Omolo, and Isaiah Ongong’a. Daughter-in-law of the late Silvanus Okoth and the late Salome Onditi. Sister-in-law of the late John Okoth Jakuot, Anthony Okoth, Silvanus Okoth, Alice, Rose, Seraphine, Phoebe, and Catherine.

Mother-in-law of Veronica Omollo, Roseline Akoth, Abraham Melita, Gearoid Kieti, and Samuel Otieno. Grandmother of Everette, Dorcas, Danelle, Taila, Ives, Ivan, Imani, Alexia, Raya, Cearney, and the late Zuriel. Foster-mother to many sons and daughters.

The funeral will take place at her home in Karian Village, Asego Sub-location of Homa Bay Town Location, on Tuesday the 10th day of August, 2021.

Family and friends are meeting at G.S. Okoth’s residence in Karian Village.
