DORCAS ONYANDO ODHIAMBO

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s divine will that we announce the passing on of our loving mother Dorcas Onyando Odhiambo, on 11th December, 2021.

Wife to the late Mathews Odhiambo Nyakota of Gem Mutumbu. Daughter to the late Washington Nawali and Josphina Asioya of Luanda-Unyore. Sister to Hannington Okello. Sister-in-law to the late Pauline, the late Marcelina, the late Magdalena, the late Peter, the late Domtila, the late Florence, Gabriel, John, Christine and Aoko.

A loving mother to the late Samuel, the late Peres, the late Steve, the late Hellen, Silper, Hon. Elisha Odhiambo MP Gem, Florence, Lucy, Rose, Josphine, Nelly, Jeremiah and Christabel. Mother-in-law to Caroline Opondo, Laura Kilei and Pauline Oluoch.

Grandmother to Brenda, Matilda, Lucas, Dorcas, Cindy, Bob, David, Petronila, Linda, Steven, Victor, Patricia, Giftbella, Nisha, Ivan, Melanie, Vanessa, Kyle, Fridah, Morgan, Elsa, Darrel, Valerie, Barbra, Marie, Osir, Diana and Mathew.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her residence in Mutumbu and Kuche Kuche in Nyayo Stadium.

The cortege leaves Avenue Hospital Mortuary – Kisumu, on Sunday 19th December, 2021, for burial on Monda 20th December, 2021, at her Gem-Mutumbu home.
