DORIS MUKWAIRU MUTHENGI

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mrs. Doris Mukwairu Muthengi which occurred on 4th December 2020. She was the loving wife of Mr. Linus Muthengi (Mwarimu) of Mukui, Mugumango location, Ganga ward, Maara Sub-county, Tharaka Nithi.

Daughter of the late Joshua Ragwa and the late Grace Ragwa. Loving mother of Kellen Muthoni Murungi (TSC), Jim Miriti (Chief, Mugumango location), Catherine Gatakaa (Business lady), the late Ernest Kaburu, Winnie Muthengi (ABSA) and Phyllis Kageni Kipkulei (TSC). Mother-in-law of Julian Murungi, Rose Miriti, Florence Kaburu, Kithinji Kanyaura and Laban Kipkulei. Sister of Jessica Njue, Phyllis Mwangi, the late Samuel Nyaga, Pharis Ntwiga and Edith Mworia, and sister-in-law of Phineas Mirungu, Phineas Njue, Wilfred Mwangi, Purity Samuel, Fridah Pharis, Gideon Mworia and Fides Kiruja. Grandmother of Mukami, Suzzy, Murimi,Wanja, Nkatha, Mwandiki, Mureti, Mukami, Eric, Chebet, Talia and Mwende, and a great grandmother of Sidney. She was an aunt and friend to many.

The cortege will leave K.U. Mortuary at 6:00am on 15th December 2020 for the requiem service at PCEA Mukui church and thereafter for her burial at her home in Mukui.
