It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved Dorothy Akinyi Otieno of State Law Office (Sheria House), on Saturday 04/02/2023, after a long illness.

Daughter of the late Wilson Oluoch and Sylvia Oluoch of Gem Sinaga. Daughter-in-law to the late Samuel Ogalo and the late Lucia Arum, Jenifer and Hellen.

Wife to Sylas Otieno Ogalo (State Department of Livestock, Kilimo House). Mother to Emanuel Otieno (Church Army Academy).

Sister to Charles and Ruth Chissaga (KQ), Solomon and Violet (US), Patrick and Joan (UK), Evelyn, Duncan (Enashipai) Andrew, Lilian, Naphtally and Elizabeth Mwangi, James and Eunice (Nairobi Women Hosp).

Sister-in-law to the late Yashon, Nael, Hellen, Shadrak, Dr Oure, Pherez, Pamela, Quinter, Jeska, Brighton,Allan, Maurice, among others. Dorothy was cousin, aunt and friend to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her residence Government Quarters, Jogoo Road opposite St. Stephen ACK Church from 6.00pm.

There will be a major harambee on Sunday 19/02/2023 at her residence from 3.00pm.

Memorial service will be on 21/02/2023 at Donholm PEFA Church – Nairobi from 2.00Pm.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home at 6.30am on Thursday 23/02/2023 for her home in Rabuor Village, Karungu Location, Sori Town, Migori County for burial on Friday 24/02/2023.
