Death and Funeral Announcement of Dorothy Joan Akinyi Olonje,

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Dorothy Olonje on 13th, May 2020 after a short illness. Until her demise, Dorothy was an employee at the Ministry of Interior & Co-ordination Of National Government in Nairobi.

Daughter of the late Japuonj Ambrose Olonje and Mama Esther Auma Olonje. Devoted mother of Luke Olonje. Sister of Lynet, Gideon (KNUT-Migori), Dinah, Daniel, Ezekiel, Evans, Zadok among others. Sister-in-law of Samuel Odiyo, Linet, Sharon, Everlyn, Joyce and Elizabeth. Aunt of Dena, Joan, Robert, Hilary, Nicole, Liz among others. Niece of Malachi and Doreen, Kezia, Lorna, Dinah, Oriaro & late Linet, Edwina, Akula, Ibrahim, Caleb and Perez. Cousins of the Othieno’s, Joyce, Odera’s, Wagumba’s, Oriaro’s, Demba’s, Okellos, Akalas’ and the Jalango’s.

Funeral arrangements are ongoing at her father’s home in Akoko Village, Migori County.

The cortege leaves Nairobi West Hospital on Wednesday 20th May 2020. Burial will be on Thursday 21st May 2020 at her father’s home in Akoko Village, Awendo Sub-County.
