DOROTHY MAKANDI MWITI

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Dorothy Makandi Mwiti, on 5th September, 2020 after a short illness.

Daughter of the late Silas M’marete M’rimberia and the late Margaret Nchoro M’marete. Daughter-in-law of the late Isaiah M’twerandu Muchai and the late Hellen Mukokiruja M’twerandu. She was the loving wife of the late Bishop Samuel Mwiti formerly of Methodist Church in Kenya. Mother of Mercy Ntinyari, Grace Gatwiri, Mark Mwenda, Kanana Njuguna and Alfred Kimathi. Mother-in-law of Eng. Kevin Njuguna, Rachel Wanjiru and Martin Bundi. Grandmother of Shanice Nkirote, Shirley Gakii and Porsha Kinya. Sister of Joseph Kiruki Marete and Joshua Muriithi Marete. Sister-in-law of Davidson Kimaita, the late Stephen Mwongera, Solomon Matumbi and Mary Mugambi.

The cortege will leave Meru Funeral Home at 8am on Friday 11th September, 2020 for church service at Ntakira Methodist Church in Gikumene followed by burial at her home – Gitimbine, Meru.
