DOUGLAS ONTITA ONYIEGO (OBISA)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Officer Douglas Ontita Onyiego (Obisa).

Son to the late Mzee Joseph Ontita and Mama Zipporah Magoma (Mama Tosha). Brother to Lydiah Bosibori, Everlyne Kerubo, Naorn Kwamboka, Stellah Nyaboke and Felix Ontinta.

Grandson to the late Paul Onyiego Gwora, the late Nyareso Onyirgo, the late Pastor Samwel Mogeni Gitenyi and Mama Martha Nyarinda Mogeni.

Nephew to Dr. Akenga, Conrad Mang’era, the late John, the late Ndege, the late Obwagi, Emanuel Nyamweya, Isaiah Mogeni, Ann Obwora, Cresencia Moochi, Callen Kwamboka (USA), Truphena Mokeira (Immigration House – Nairobi), Ann Moraa and Jane Nyaboke.

Cousin to Hon. Momaima (Senator – Kisii County), Nancy Nyomenda, Sharon (USA), Diana Kwamboka (USA), Dennis Moseti, Jared Ooga, Albert Mayaka, Moses Nyasimi, Alloys Tumbo, Julius Obwagi and Jeff Onyiego.

Uncle to Promise Tyron, Brian Barongo, Dyran Ooga, Brandy, Sharon, Kyden, Jayden,Warren, Hesly and Emmanuel.

The cortege leaves Kisii Teaching & Referral Hospital, (KTRH) Mortuary on Thursday 20/07/2023 for an night vigil at his home in Jogoo Village. Funeral Mass and burial will be held on Friday 21/07/2023 at their home ground in Jogoo Village, Mwamosioma Sub-location, Kisii County from 9.00am.
