It is with deep sorrow yet acknowledging God’s will, that we announce the promotion to glory of Douglas Thiriri Wanyiri, which occurred on 3rd March, 2023.

Douglas is son to the late Paul Wanyiri Kunyiha and the late Gladys Muthoni.

Beloved husband to Mary Wanjiku Wanyeri. Loving father to Beatrice Wairimu (Seattle, USA), Eileen Wanjiru (South Africa), Susan Wangeci, Nicholas Kariuki (Seattle, USA) and Rose Wangui.

Brother to the late Esther Wangeci Munyiri,the late Stephen Ndungu, the late Shelmith Wangui, Joyce Wambui Njogu, Charles Rukwaro Wanyiri, John Kariuki Wanyiri, Mary Njeri Mureithi and Grace Wairimu.

Grandfather to Cindy,Trevor, Kentice, Kalian and Tristan.

He will be dearly missed by all his family, relatives and friends.

The cortege leaves Nyeri Funeral Home (Outspan), on Thursday 16th March, 2023 at 8.00am for funeral service and burial at his home in Muthuini Village, Mwihoko Location, Kieni West Sub-county, Nyeri County at 10.00am.

Douglas, you have fought a good fight and have finished the race.
