DR. ELIAKIM OLENGO OTENYO

It is with heaviness of hearts and profound grief but with the humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Dr. Eliakim Olengo Otenyo, which occurred on 23/03/2023 at Eldoret Hospital, after a long illness bravely borne.

He was the first-born son to the late Mzee Jackson Ndege and Mama Rosebella Omukitsa of Ebiba Emukangu.

The beloved husband to Mary Fairhall. Doting father to James A. Aseka, Hon Benmark Ekhubi (Milimani Law Courts and Secretary General, Kenya Magistrates and Judges Association) and Salome Otenyo of Egerton University.

Brother to Risper, Daina, Phylis, Johnstone, Floice and Joel.

The sweetest granddad to Charlene, Joshua (J.J), Abigael, Maryann A., Ela, Eli and Susan.

He was father-in-law to Meldine Aseka and Reuben Biwott.

He was Son-in-law to the late Mr. and Mrs. Fairhall. Brother-in-law to John, Helena, the late Jack, Selly,Robert and Joyce, Evans, Khalai,Victoria, Irene and Gertrude.

Cousin to Shihuli, Okonji, Jared, Maria, Rachel,Amado, Erastus, Deborah, Shad rack, Emily, Lawi, Stephen,Willy, Joel, Ben among others.

Friends and family will have a requiem service on 07/04/2023 at Church of God E.A (K), Kitale and the burial ceremony will be held on 08/04/2023 at his Sioyi farm, Kitale.

2nd Timothy 4:7-8 — “I have fought the good fight, have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord,the righteous judge,will award to me on that day.”
