DR. HARRISON THUKU NGETHA

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Dr. Harrison Thuku Ngetha which occurred on 24/08/2021. Until his demise, he was a Senior Lecturer and former Dean, School of Engineering at Dedan Kimathi University of Technology (DeKUT) in Nyeri.

Son of the late Peter Ngetha and Lucy Wanjiku of Karatina, Mathira, Nyeri County. Son-in-law of the late Moses Mutogia and late Regina Wambui of Kandara, Murang’a County. He was a loving husband of Lucy Waruguru. Doting father of Luciana Wanjiku and Harriet Wambui. Brother to Grace Muthoni, Michael Ndoria, Wilson Kareithi, Geoffrey Kinyua and Eunice Wabera. Uncle, cousin and a great friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Mweiga (Megumi Gardens).

On Monday, 30th August 2021, a memorial service will be held at Dedan Kimathi University of Technology (DeKUT) – Freedom Hall at 4.00pm.

Cortege leaves Outspan Funeral Home on Wednesday, 01/09/2021 at 9.00 am for burial at his home in Kanyagia Mweiga (Megumi Gardens) in Nyeri County.
