It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Dr. James Mwangi Wanyaga, Founder Director of Precious Pharmaceuticals, one of the founders of Open Hand Children’s Home & former chairman of the board of management of Aguthi Secondary School.

Husband to Caroline Nyambura. Father to Edith Wanjiru, Alex Wanyaga, Christopher Mburu, Pluscase Gathuna & Peris Kagure. Grandfather to Ummi Rading. Son to the late Joshua Wanyaga Muthoka and Peris Kagure. Son-in-law to the late Joseph Gathuna Mbugua & Lucy Wangari Gathuna.

Brother to Erastus Wachira, the late Edward Macharia, Mary Wanjugu Muthoga, the late Alice Wanjiru, Esther Muringi Lokiri & John Githaiga. Brother-in-law to Francis Thiongo & Kennedy Gathuna. Uncle to Sharon Wanjiru, Mercy Wanjiku & many more.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Tumaini Court, Kitengela & Kiamaigua, Gititu Nyeri for prayers & funeral arrangements.

A memorial service will be held at PCEA Neema Church – Kitengela, on Sunday 30/01/2022, from 2:00pm.

The cortege will depart from Montezuma & Monalisa Funeral Home (Kabati Kenol Branch), at 7:00am for the funeral service to be held at PCEA Gititu Church & thereafter burial at his home in Kiamaigua, Gititu, Nyeri.
