DR. JOHN CHEGE NGETHE

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of our father and patriarch Dr. John Chege Ngethe, on 20th March, 2021, after a short illness.

Loving husband of Grace Muthoni Ngethe and Esther Mulekye Chege. Dr. John Chege Ngethe hailed from Kabete, NITD, Thiboro Village. Son of the late Nicholas Ngethe Thiongo and his wife the late Sarah Njoki Ngethe. Brother of the late Nduta, the late Peter Thiongo, George Kamau, Mary Wairimu, Nancy Wanjiru, the late Wilfred Mwaura, Pauline Wanjiku, Elizabeth Njeri and the late Stephen Waweru. Dearly beloved father of Ngethe, Njoki, Wangui, Muhoya, Rina and Angela. Father-in-law of Faith, Njoroge, Richard and Zipporah. Doting grandfather of Ruby, Ayanna, Muthoni, Jasper, Nathan and Wema. A father and grandfather figure too many others.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday 24th March, 2021 at his home in Sigona (Zambezi area). The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home (off Mbagathi Road) on 24th March, 2021 at 8,30am for a funeral service at ACK St. Lukes Church, Sigona from 10:30am and thereafter burial at his home.

Due to the season we are in, the funeral service will be broadcast live and all Ministry of Health protocols will be observed.
