DR. JOSEPH WAWERU GITHIORI

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Dr. Joseph Waweru Githiori, which occurred on 19th January, 2024.

Son of the late Japhet Githiori Matua and Juliana Wanjiru. Son-in-law of Joshua Ng’ang’a Kagone and Eunice Wanjiru of Kanyariri Village.

Loving husband of Florence Mwihaki Githiori. A doting father to the late John J. Githiori, Julie Wanjiru Waweru and Catherine Chege.A grandfather to Abigail Mwihaki, among others,

Brother to the late Wangari, the late Kimani, the late Paulina Nieri, the late Mukami, Jane Mugure Njogu and Margaret Wambui. Step-brother to Zipporah Muthoni, the late Njoki thinda and Francis Nganga Githiori.

Uncle to Dominic Kamata, John Githiori, Ann Nyambura, the late Simon Wakaba, Damaris Wanjiru, Julia Wanjiru, Elizabeth Nyokabi, Simon Ngaruiya, Patrick Gitau, J.J. Githiori, among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his residence at Kiboko Estate, Thika, for funeral arrangements,

The funeral Mass will be held at St. Andrew Kaggwa Catholic Church, Kiboko on Thursday 25th January, 2024 from 10.00am.

Thereafter the interment will be held at his Gathugu Village farm in Igamba Sub-Location, Gituamba Location, Gatundu North Sub-County, Kiambu County.
