It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Dr. Judith Diana Bwire which occurred on 22nd June 2024 at the Aga Khan Hospital, Nairobi after a short illness bravely borne.

Beloved Daughter of the late ENG. Francis Bwire and Catherine Bwire.

Cherished sister of David Bwire and Dr. Jacqueline Bwire.

Loving Sister-in-law of Sylvia Macharia- Bwire and adored aunty of Gilbert Bwire and Sekani Bwire.

Niece of Joseph Opiyo, the late Michael Ochieno, the late Alexander Oyiolo, Henry Bwire the late Alphaxad Bwire, John Odongo, Isaac Odongo, Mary Waseka, Leah Opiyo, Sr. Maureen Oyiolo, Adrian Ochieno, Mary Oyiolo, Melissah Mulimba, Roselida Machio, Everse Bwire the late Lynette Bwire among others.

Cousin of Dr. Wallace Bwire, Hillary Opiyo, Claire Opiyo, Habil Waseka, Adah Kangogo, Edwin Ochieno, Michael Ochieno, Jude Oyiolo, Dr. Gloria Oyiolo Oliver Mang’eni, Karen Leposo, Jacob Bwire, Cynthia Odongo, among others.

Judith Bwire was a doctor at Glenfield Hospital of Leicester, united Kingdom.

Funds drive to offset the medical and funeral costs will be held at All Saints Cathedral on Wednesday 3 rd July 2024 at 5.00pm.

A requiem Mass will be held on Thursday 4 th July 2024 at Apostles of Jesus Shrine along Langata Road from 12:00 noon EAT.

The burial ceremony will take place on Saturday, 06 th July 2024 at the family home in Mukonjo Village, Samia sub county, Busia County.
