DR. ODHIAMBO OWINO (JOSH)

With a lot of humility and gratitude the entire Onguta family and that of the late Senior Chief Peterson Owino Onguta wishes to announce with profound sorrow and sadness the untimely demise of Dr. Odhiambo Owino (Josh) which occurred on 8th November, 2020 in a Nairobi Hospital.

Son to the late Senior Chief Peterson Owino Onguta and Mama Maria Owino, Margaret Owino, Agneta Owino and Peres Owino of Malela Village, Kakaeta Sub-location, North Kanyamwa Location, Ndhiwa Sub-County, Homa-Bay County. Loving husband to Tabitha Achieng Ombogo Odhiambo and Tabitha Kairigi Odhiambo. Wonderful father to Peter Owino, Rosemary Assue, Margaret Affiah, Valentine Oluoch, James Giathi, Mary Rehema (Romy), Alex Odhiambo, and Emmanuel Peter. Father in-law to Happy Peter and Dosila Matengo. Grandpa to Ezekiel Owino, Josh Owino, James Owino, TD Ombogo Giathi, Jambo-Jere Owino and lovely queen Tabitha Giathi.

Nephew to the late Leunadus Nyagilo, Abiud and Margaret Asowa, late Wachara Onguta, Josephine and Conslata Wachara and Walter Dibogo among others. Brother to Mwalimu Alex Owino, Herine Owino, Hon. Martin Peters Owino, Ndhiwa MP, the late Assistant Chief Walter Owino, Dorice Mwalo, Jane Onyango, Grace Onyango, Tobias Owino, Jael Ogwel, Harry Owino, Judy Owino, Omondi Owino, Lonnah Ngwato, Pamela Owino, Samuel Owino, Elijah Owino, Ooko Owino, Ben Owino, Tom Owino, Justus Owino, Selesteen Awuor, Odhiambo Owino, Cheluget Owino and Achieng Owino.

Brother in-Law to Judith Otieno Phoeby Odhiambo, late Molena Oluoch, Jessyjuliet Owino, Caroline Omondi, Charmaine Owino, Elizabeth Okeyo, Beatrice Ooko, Beatrice Oketch, Terry Bernard, Penina Otieno, Elidah Cheluget, Richard Ombogo,Awino, Ogalo, Sammy Musyoka, David, Sammy, Dunstan and Esther among others. Cousin to Ibrahim Asowa, John Wachara, Odhiambo Wachara, the late Owigo Wachara, Andrew Wachara and Peter Asowa among others. He was a friend, uncle and a Grandfather to many others.

Funeral Service will be on 25th Nov, 2020 at Nairobi Central SDA church as from 10.00am-1.00 pm.

Fundraising will be on 15th Nov, 2020 In Old Sanctuary Building, at Nairobi Central SDA Church from 5:30pm-8.00pm.

Burial will be on 27th Nov, 2020 Malela Village, Ndhiwa Constituency, Homa Bay County.

Dr. Josh, We love you and we will continue with your legacy. Rest In peace, Nyaundi Dume.
