DR. PATRICK WACHIRA MAINA

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Dr. Patrick Wachira Maina which occurred at Avenue hospital, Parklands following a short illness.

Son of Dr. and Mrs. Maina Mwea of Dr. Maina Herbal Clinic. Beloved husband of Verah Mwende and father to Nathaniel Maina and Natalie Wambui. Brother to Lilian Muigai, James Mwea, Beth Mwai, the late Edwin Mutugi and Caroline Maina.

Brother-in-law to James Muigai Muhia, Antony Mwai Gatandi, Susan Musyoki, Jennifer Musyoki, Yvonne Musyoki, Georgina Musyoki, Miriam Musyoki and Felix Musyoki. Uncle to Alvin Muhia, Audrey Muthoni, Ashley Wambui, Aaron Gatandi and Megan Wangari. Cousin and nephew to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Honeysuckle Garden Estate, House no. 66, Pipeline and at his parents home in Utawala from 5pm to 7pm.

A fundraiser will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at St Andrew’s PCEA Church, Nairobi, Hall I, from 5pm to assist the family in offsetting the huge hospital bill. Contributions can be sent to the Patrick Wachira Medical & Funeral Expenses fund, Paybill Number 4079399 using your name as the account number.
