DR VINCENT MWANGI KEGA

1956-2021

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Dr Vincent Mwangi Kega PhD (Kalro, Mwea) on the 27th July 2021.

Son of the late Hon Isaac Kega Muthua and the late Alice Wangui Kega of Munyange village, Mahiga Othaya, son in law to the late David Chome and the late Prudence Kambe of Chome Village, Taita Taveta.

Husband to Jemimah Wasai Mwangi, father to Alice Wangui Cheche (Tungsten Mombasa), Isaac Kega Mwangi (Zetech University) and Dr. David Chome (KDF). Father in law to Julius Cheche Kihara (Kilifl County Govt) and Ann Wangare (Sama Source Nairobi). Dotting grandfather to Halley Wangari Cheche, Riley Kihara Cheche, Nathaniel Mwangi Kega and Amari Mwangi Cheche.

Brother to Muthua Kega (Mwihoko), Wangari Gregor (Paderbon, Germany), Kingori Kega (Othaya), Wakanyi Kamunya (Nrb), Clr Nuthu Kega (Nrb), Wanjiru Kamau(Metropol Nrb), Peter Kega (Nrb) and Judith Njeri Kega (Kassel, Germany). Brother in law Johnson Mwamburi, Evans Mtwanguo, Ambrose Mbela, Agatha Mgendi, Maxwell Mwallongo, Elizabeth Kubo, Francis Mwasho.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his Happy Valley residence in Thika every day at 4pm and at his parents’ home at Gura farm Munyange village for prayers and funeral arrangements.

There will be a memorial service at ACK Happy Valley church Thika on Sunday 1st August at 3pm.

The cortege leaves Nyeri Funeral Home (Outspan) on 3rd August 2021 at 9 am for a funeral service and burial thereafter at his farm in Gwakanini, Gikoe village, Othaya.
