EDINA EVAYO KAMADI

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Edina Evayo Kamadi on 5th September 2024 after a short illness.

Until her demise, she worked at the Nuclear Power and Energy Agency.

Edina was born on 6th December 1969 to Bob Vilembwa and Rebecca Vilembwa in Vumale Village, Kegoye Sub-Location, Wamuluma Location, Vihiga Sub-County, Vihiga County.

She was daughter-in-law of the late Mama Reba and the late Mzee Momanyi.

A loving wife of John Kamadi (Nairobi City County). Mother of Dr. Mercy Kamadi (Kenyatta National Hospital), Diana Kamadi, and Alvin Kamadi (St. Peters Gilgil).

Sister of Jack, Joel, Caro, Jane, Joash and Edgar. Sister-in-law of Rose, Margaret, Florence, Rael, the Late Richard, Esther, Miriam, Paul, and Ezna.

There will be a fundraiser to support the family with burial expenses on 17th September 2024 at City Hall, Court Number 1 – Nairobi starting from 5.00 PM.

A memorial service will be held on 19 th September 2024 at Friends International Centre Church, Ngong Road, at 1:00 PM.

She will be laid to rest on 21st September 2024, at her home in Kolongolo, Kwanza Sub-county – Trans Nzoia County.

Edina leaves behind a legacy of love, humor, and kindness. Her memory will forever live in the hearts of all who knew her.
