EDITH KATHOKI MUTIE

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Edith Kathoki Mutie on Thursday 6th April 2023 at Nairobi Hospital. Until her demise, she was an Assistant Director at Immigration Services (ADIS).

Dearest mother of Ricky Mwendwa.

Daughter of the late Magdalene Mbete Mutie and the late Mutie Nthenge. Sister of Joseph Makau, Mary Musembi, Philip Muthoka, the late Ndinda Mutie, and the late Justus Mwaiwa.

Sister-in-law to Oliver, Clavia, Ruth, Mary and Rosemary.

Beloved auntie to Derrick, Noel, Mwongela, Irene, Dominic, Syuwia, Vickie, William, Kyalo, Julius, Mueni, Purity, Mumbe, Mutua,Violet, Jackie, Ndunge, Lucy and Mutie.

Loving grandmother to Glen, Wayne, Jayson, Simaton, Garvin, Ariana, Gideon, Christian, Kendi, Joy and Sifa.

Prayers and funeral planning meetings are being held daily at her rural home in Kithatu village and her town home in Kitengela, Nairobi.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home, Nairobi, on Friday 21st April 2023 at 8.00am, for a burial mass at Kiliku Primary School Grounds, Emali, from 11.00am and later burial rites at her ancestral home in Kithatu village, Katune sub-location, Emali-Mulala Ward in Makueni County.
