EDITH KIUGU GODFREY

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our dear Mum Edith Kiugu Godfrey which occurred on 4th October 2021 at Kirua Mission Hospital, Meru.

Wife of the late Godfrey Kiugu. Daughter of the late M’Iracha Gatumo and Beatrice M’Iracha. Mother of the late Joyce Riungu, late Rewel Kirimi, Griffith Kiambi, Arnold Mbaabu, Winlight Muriungi, Julius Kimathi, Rose Gacheri and Mercy Njagi. Mother-in-law of the late Washington Edith Kiugu Riungu, Dorris Kirimi, Priscillah Godfrey Kiambi, Margret Mbaabu, Anne unty Muriungi,Virginia Kimathi, Gitonga Marete and Njagi Rucha.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home, Mbicia Village – Gatakene.

The Cortege leaves Kirua Mission Hospital on Tuesday the 12th October 2021 at 7.00am for a funeral service at Gatakene PCEA church at 10:30a.m. Later the burial takes place at her home – Mbicia Village at 2pm.

Rest in peace mummy till we meet again.
