It is with the humble acceptance of the Lord’s will that we announce the death of Edith Wangari Kabiru which occurred on 25th May, 2020.

Daughter of the late Githae wa Giti and the late Naomi Wathuo. Sister of the late Juliana Wangithi, Jane Njurubi and the late Geoffrey Mucue. Wife of the late Stephen Kabiru. Mother of Dr. Githae, Naomi Muriithi, Lawrence Kinyua, David Kibara, the late Geoffrey Mwai, Hellen K. Munene, Stella Wanjiru and Eddah Wangithi. Mother-in-law of Florence Githae, James Muriithi, Dr. Margaret Kinyua, Benita Kibara, Jane Mwai and Job Munene. Grandmother and Great Grandmother of many. Sister-in law of Njambi and Ngaire.

Burial will be held on Friday, 29th May, 2020 at her farm in Kaharo Village, Mwirua Location, Kirinyaga West Sub-County, and Kirinyaga County.
