EDITH WANGARI KAGAGI

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mrs. Edith Wangari Kagagi on 30th September 2021. She hailed from Magau Location, Gaikuyu Sub-location Nyeri County.

Beloved wife of Johnson Ngarariga Kagagi and the daughter of the late Amos Gathuku Kamanja and the late Phoebe Nyawira Gathuku. Mother to Dr. Dan Kagagi and John Kagagi. Mother-in-law to Roselyne Kagagi and Dr. Jane Marine. Grandmother to Fidel Owuor, Jade Wangari Kagagi, and Kayla Kagagi.

Sister to the late Lady Justice Joyce Khaminwa, Martha Gathuku, the late James Kamanja Gathuku, the late Penina Gathuku, Robert Macharia Gathuku, the late Geoffrey Muchemi Gathuku, and Joseph Gathara Gathuku.

Sister-in-law to Dr John Khaminwa, Rose Macharia, the late Joyce Njeri Muchemi and Nancy Gathuku. She was also sister-in-law to the late Juana Murigu, Njoki Muchiri, Nyaguthi Murage, the late Joseph Ndoria, Peter Maciri and Adele Wangui Marine. Aunty and friend to many.

The cortege leaves Jamii Hospital, Karatina on Thursday 7th October, 2021- at 9am for a private family burial at the family home in Gaikuyu. This will be followed by a memorial talk that will be hosted live on You Tube at 11am.

We look forward to seeing her soon in the resurrection.
