Edward Ngunjiri Waithaka (Mwalimu wa Mukuyu Market)

We regret to announce the untimely passing on of Edward Ngunjiri Waithaka (Mwalimu Wa Mukuyu Market) of Gaitega Village, Mbiri, Kiharu Murang’a County.

Son of Peter Waithaka and the late Faith Wanjiku. Husband of Loise Njeri Ngunjiri (Mukuyu Market). Father of Mercy Wanjiku (Four-in-One Saloon Mukuyu), Peter Waithaka (Businessman Kangari), Engineer John Magondu (Murang’a County Government), the late Daniel Muritia, Ephantus Kiiru (Murang’a Level 5 Hospital), Simon Kirima (Businessman Mukuyu), Paul Mukuria (Murang’a County Assembly), James Kigoni (Businessman Murang’a), and Beatrice Wambui (SASSY Finance Machakos). Brother of Daniel Muritia, John Kirima, the late James Kigoni, Phyllis Waithera, and Joseph Wanyinyi. Grandfather of the Ngunjiris’, Njeris’, Ivy (Bishop Gatimu), Maureen (Kahuhia Girls), and others.

Friends and Relatives are meeting daily at Tourist Lodge Mukuyu and his home in Mukuyu and Gaitega village for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home in Kabati Kenol, on Tuesday 24th March 2020 at 9:00am. Thereafter, the funeral service will be held at St. Peters Gaitega Catholic Church from 11:00am. His body will later be laid to rest at his farm in Hilton Gaitega Village.
