It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely demise of Edward Peter Ngige Wamagata of Kinoo-location, Kikuyu-subcounty in Kiambu-county.

Son of the late Shadrack Wamagata Waruingi and Rahab Wangui Wamagata. Brother of Thomas Ndung’u Wamagata, Josephine Wanjiru Kinyanjui, Ruth Njeri Ndiho, Fredrick Gaitho Wamagata, Grace Mambo Ngerere, Peninah Nduta Wamagata and Mary Njoki Kahenya.

Husband of Lucy Wanjiku Ngige. Father of Edward Wamagata Ngige, Nancy Wangui Ngige, The late Laban Ndirangu Ngige, Joyce Mumbi Mukundi and Winnie Wanjiru Ngige.

Father-in-law of Patricia Njeri Wamagata and Edwin Mukundi Njururi. Grandfather of Esther, Billy, Lucy, Allan, Judith, Howard, Lee, Wayne, Victor, Vivan, Aaron and Chloe. He was a great-grandfather of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily in his home at 4.00PM for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral and Research Hospital (KUTRRH) on Thursday 20th August 2020 at 8.00AM for a Church service which will be held at Millennium Academy and there after burial at his home in Kariango village, Kinoo-location, Kikuyu-subcounty in Kiambu-county.
