It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved Dad Edwin S.E Cheruiyot (Bat), on 31st October, 2021, after a long bravely.

Beloved husband to Emmy Bett. Father to William, Joseph, Ruth and Ivy. Son of the late Kipkerich arap Kirwa. Brother of the late Kipsaina arap Choge, the late Jerono. Step-brother of the late Elisha Rono, Mzee David Cheluget. Father-in-law to Caroline, Janet and Vincent.

Brother-in-law to the late Truphosa, Magdalene, Eliud, Stephen and Leah. Amongst other members of the extended family, Uncle to Drusillah, Abraham, Damaris, Lynn, John, Martha, Mike, Job, Rebecca, Jeptanui, Jepkirui, Kipkemei and Jelimo, amongst others.

Grandfather of Audrey, Jeryl, Nehemiah, Doreen, Cayden, Caelyn-M, Jovian, Angel, Jayden. Great-grandfather to many.

The cortege leaves Eldoret Hospital Mortuary on Monday 8th November, 2021, at 8.00am, for an overnight stay. Prayers and burial will take place on Tuesday 9th November, 2021, at home Lemook-Soko, starting at 9.00am, (Uasin Gishu County).
