ELDER MARY NYOKABI MATHERI

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to Glory of retired Elder Mary Nyokabi Matheri which occurred on 5th January 2025.

She was a Daughter of the Late Peter Ndirangu Mutembei and Caroline Wamaitha Mutembei (Waiyaya). Loving Wife of the Late Stanley Kuria Matheri.

Cherished Mother of Carol Wamaitha (Canada), Anthony Muhia (Nairobi), Peter Ndirangu (USA), Edith Wairimu and Anne Kuria (Nairobi).

She was a grandmother of Robert Ndungu, (Canada), Jardine Kipkorir (Pesa Pal Nairobi), Albert Njenga (Canada).

Daughter-in-Law of the Late Wilson Muhia and the Late Edith Wairimu.

Loving Sister of Goretti Wambui, Margaret Muiruri, Antonina Nduta, Anne Wanjiku and the Late Joseph Ndungu.

She was In-law of Grace Wanjiku, Naomi Wangui, the Late Stephen Njoroge, the Late Ruth Njeri, the Late Peter Mbugua, Rosebell Nduta, Alice Wanjiru, Margaret Nyachania, She was a cousin, Aunt and Grandmother to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Nginduri, Komothai Location Kiambu County From 4.00PM and PCEA St Andrews Church, Nairobi at 6.00pm for prayers and funeral Arrangements.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Mortuary (Mbagathi Way) on Wednesday 15th January 2025 at 8.00AM

The Funeral service will take Place at PCEA Komothai Church from 10.00 AM and burial will be held at her home in Nginduri Village
