It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elder Monica Muthoni Githae that occurred on 10th January, 2024.

Daughter to Eliud Kagema and Shiphira Wacera. Step-daughter to Alice Waturi. Daughter-in-law to the late
Hutchison Ngure Kurei and the late Beth Wangui. Step-daughter-in-law to the late Florence Njoki.

Loving wife to George Githae Ngure of Gichira Sub-Location, Aguthi Location, Tetu Division, Nyeri County. Beloved
mother to Judith Wangui, Maxwell Ngure, Edith Wachira, Joseph Wachira, Felix Kagema, Diana Kagema, Dennis
Thumbi and Catherine Thumbi.

Sister to the late Simon Ngatia, the late Zelipha Wanjiru, the late Ephantus Muturi, the late Esther Nyawira, Mary
Wambui, the late Nelson Kagema, Stanley Wanjue, Esther Muthoni, Julius Muthami, Elder Lucy Wanjiru, Elder Margret Nyawira, Joseph Maina and Wilson Kuru.

Sister-in-law to the late Mary Wairimu, the late Martin Kamagara, the late Francis Ngunju, the late Bernard Waigwa, Agnes Muthoni, James Nderitu, Diana Wairimu, Lucy Wamuyu and Jane Wanjiru.

Grandmother to Jayden, Alex, Tamara Ngure, Patience, Ethan, Tamara Wachira, Trevor, Hailey, Zoey, Nathaniel and Sharlet. Auntie, cousin and friends to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangement at her home in Gichira at 4.00pm.

The cortege leaves Nyeri Funeral Home (Outspan) at 8:00am on Friday 19th January, 2024 for funeral service at Gichira PCEA Church at 10:00am followed by the burial service at her home in Gichira Sub-Location Kiangacha Village.
