ELDER SAMUEL MWAURA GACHUNGI

We are sad to announce the passing on of Elder Samuel Mwaura Gachungi.

He was the son of the late Henry Gachungi Mung’au and the late Tabitha Wairimu Gachungi.

Husband to the late Rosemary Nyokabi Mwaura.

Son in-law to the late Stephen Karanja Munyoroku and the late Waceke Karanja.

Loving father to David and Alice Gachungi, Jane and Wainaina, the late Grace Waceke, the late Esther Wanjiru and Stephen Karanja.

Father in-law to Alice Wangari and Wainaina Kamau.

Brother to the late Esther Wanjiru Wanjie, the late Mungau Gachungi, Mary Wanjiru Njuguna, Hannah Mwihaki Njuguna, the late Kimari Gachungi, the late Racheal Mumbi Mburu, the late Kibuika Gachungi, Grace Wanjiru Gachungi (Theru) and Nancy Wacu Maina.

Grandfather to Mwaura, Nyokabi, Nyambura, Wangui, Kamau, Skyra, Sterling and Seabright. An uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Kibathithi, Kagaa Sub-County, Githunguri County daily from 4.00pm.

The cortege leaves Mokoe Funeral Home Githunguri on Tuesday, 17th October 2023 at 9.00am for funeral service at CEA Kibathithi from 10.00 am. Thereafter, burial to take place at his home in Kibathithi.
