ELIAS M’THURANIRA M’MBUI

It is with great sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden passing on of Elias M’Thuranira M’Mbui on Wednesday 31st May 2023 at Consolata Hospital Nkubu while undergoing treatment.

Son to the late M’Mbui and Mariam Muthoni. Brother to the late Ezekiel M’Arithi and Karambu.

Husband to Tabitha Muthoni. Father to Jacob Mwiti (Immigration), Daniel Mpuria, Esther Gaiti, Margaret Gakii, the late Silas Nyamu, Lucy Mucece and Grace Nyai.

Brother-in-law to the late Charles Nkeiya and Evangeline Nchurubi.

Father-in-law to Joy Makena (MK Designers), Douglas Mwiti, Esther Gakii, Francis Mwirigi, the late Jane Gaceri, and Phineas Munene. He had over thirty grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. He was uncle and friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Jacob Mwiti’s home Donholm Nairobi and his home Bwonyaine village, Meru for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Consolata Hospital Mortuary Nkubu on Wednesday, 7th June, 2023 at 8.00 am for a requiem service and burial on the same day at BwonyaineVillage, Gaatia, Igoki Location, Abogeta East Division in Meru County.
