ELIJAH KISOVI KATEE

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Elijah Kisovi Katee on Thursday, 11th July 2024, at Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital (KUTRH), Nairobi, after succumbing to a brain tumor illness.

Elijah was the loving husband of Esther Msigo Makeo and the devoted father of Walter Katee Kisovi, Magdalene Wayua Kisovi, and Mercy Mueni Kisovi.

He was the son of the late Katee Mutuku and Munanie Katee and had five siblings: Matuku Katee, the late Mwange Katee, Mutei Katee, Mutua Katee, and Mumbe Katee.

Elijah was also the son-in-law of the late Walter Makeo and the late Claris Mbea.

He was a cherished stepbrother of many, including Mulwa, Mandela, Antony Kiema, Mutuku, and Mwaka.

Elijah was a doting cousin to many.

Elijah was a dedicated Administration Police Officer since his graduation from the Administration Police Training College (APTC) in March 2003 until his passing.

The funeral ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, 20th July 2024, at his rural home in Kwa Vonza, Tiva Sub-location, Kitui Central, in Kitui County.

The cortege will leave KU Funeral Home on Saturday, 20th July 2024, at 6:30am and proceed to Kwa Vonza, Kitui County, where he will be laid to rest
