ELIKETA MUTHONI MWANGI

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Eliketa Muthoni which occurred on 1st September, 2024 after courageously battling illness for some time. 

She was wife of Elijah Mwangi Wambugu (late) and co-wife of Milka Waithera and Lucy Njica.

Loving mother of Francis Wambugu (Kairo) Thika, Mary Wanjiru, Eng. Lawrence Wainaina, Florence Mugoiri, Joseph Ndung’u, Bonface Gathimba, David Wainaina, Peter Njogu and Eng. Moses Gathogo.

Mother in law of Ann Njoki, Elizabeth Wanjiku, Lucy Muthoni, Alice Mugure, Jane Nyambura, Nancy Muthoni, Grace Wairimu, Peter N. Mwangi and Simon Murigi. Sister of Wambui, Njogu, Mwangi, the late Ndung’u and the late Mbere. 

She was loving grandmother and great grandmother to many. 

Family and Friends are meeting at Nairobi Family Basilica Blessed Irene Nyatha Hall, Cardinal Otunga Annex 7th Floor daily from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and at her home Ndorome Village, Kamahuha Location for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home (Kabati) on Friday 6th September 2024 at 7:30 am for the funeral service at 10:00 am and the burial thereafter at her home in Ndorome Village, Iganjo Sub-Location, Kamahuha Location, Makuyu Constituency, Murang’a County.
